Workshop | Making community central to 'water smart' new homes

Join Enabling Water Smart Communities (EWSC) in-person to explore how communities can lead the way in building water-smart homes.

This workshop will explore community perspectives and forms of engagement around water issues, and what that means for how new housing developments are designed and shaped, and the role of communities in their long-term stewardship.

The session will also consider what is needed to normalise the concept of 'water smart communities' in the UK.

This session will be led by: Dr Claire Hoolohan (Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research, University of Manchester) and Dr Tom Hargreaves (Associate Professor of Environmental Social Science, University of East Anglia).

Space are limited for this event. If you would like to join us, please register your interest via the link above, or email nathan.gore@ciwem.org, and we’ll be in touch!
