There can be no such thing as a ‘water smart community’ without the community.

The long-term success of water smart homes depends upon the residents who live there and the businesses and organisations that service them. Communities are active participants whose practices, preferences, and relationships influence outcomes.

These roles vary – from residents who want to co-manage assets, to those who prefer more arm’s-length arrangements – and they evolve over time.
