EWSC Slide Decks

Enabling Water Smart Communities (EWSC) is an innovation project exploring the relationship between integrated water management, community engagement & practices, and housing development to unlock new opportunities for cross-sector delivery and stewardship.

This event, which took place at the Building Centre in London on 26 March 2026, was an opportunity to share and celebrate the project’s insights and achievements over the last few years, and set a pathway for its future.

We heard from the many different partners involved, as well as discussions about making water smart communities the norm in all new developments. Finally, we shared our future plans, including the Water Smart Growth Board and Community of Practice, and explained how people can get involved with the project.
